If eating out is what does it for you... have a look and see what we go.

We don't list the chinese restaurant down the road or the local Macdonalds, nor yet the Pub that doing quite well in the next town... What we DO list is the restaurant that is some thing special. A restaurant where having a meal is an experience in itself.

Not just because of the food - it could be the chef is world famous, it could be you eat with your fingers and use banana leaves as you shelter from the Africa sun under rustling palms...

Local produce

Pick up fruit and snacks at farmer's markets, and buy souvenirs made by local artisans. Goods produced nearby are usually cheaper because they don't have to be shipped in from somewhere else — and the fact that they haven't traveled far means these purchases have a smaller carbon footprint too.
