Some really great ideas here to keep yourself busy in the colder months when you don't want to spend a thing. No trips, no tours, no cash withdrawals, just fun ways to keep yourself and or the kids entertained over the winter.
Use only the towels you HAVE to and don't have them changed daily. Don't insist on fresh sheets daily - much of a hotels energy expenditure is on laundry.
Connecting flights can become a nightmare if your original flight is late.
Make sure when you purchase your ticket that the lay over time in between flights is at least an hour and a half.
